The Best Approach for You ? _________________________________
Visit the Services page for a practical description of each of the different types of sessions available. The information there will tell you what we do in each session, the time allowed, and the session fee, and will help you decide what kind of work will best suit your needs. If you’re particularly looking for support through nutrition & dietary change, then a simple consult & counseling session would probably be most appropriate. This session allows an hour to discuss your issue/s and determine the best course of treatment for you. Alternately, you may like to have a combined counseling plus energy healing session, which allows time to explore the most appropriate treatments, followed by energy work to support the healing process.

Good nutrition is the most important basic factor in physical & mental health.
I’ve often found that poor diet (resulting in poor nutrition) is one of the underlying reasons for a client’s poor health. Health and nutrition are intimately connected, and people generally don’t realise how great an impact a balanced diet can have on their overall well-being. For example, if mornings find you feeling dull and lacking in energy, or you just can’t seem to get yourself motivated into the day, try getting some beautiful vitamin B before you trudge down to your local doctor for an anti-depressant. Or if you’re relying on sleeping pills to get you off into never-land at night, you may simply need to get more Magnesium-rich foods into you.
The nutrients in food act as catalysts to kick start metabolic processes, as anti-oxidants to help clear out potentially harmful molecules and wastes, and as materials for new growth and repair. They also have many other crucial roles within the body, including providing cells & organs with fuel so they have the energy to keep functioning at their best.
Nutritional deficiency interferes with your health on all levels, physical, emotional, and mental. No matter what else you do for your body, it cannot be truly healthy if your diet is inappropriate to its needs. To experience well-being and true joy, your nutritional intake must be in balance with your body’s needs.
Diet is the first area I look at in relation to any pattern of imbalance. If there is a connection, then dietary change, or a period of nutritional supplementation may be recommended.
Nutritional Healing
The number one priority, in my opinion, is repairing the unbalanced dietary patterns that led to nutrient deficiency in the first place. This involves reviewing your eating habits and food choices, to see where positive changes can most easily be made. Then providing guidance, encouragement and support while you make those changes in stages, little by little, so that they become an easy and natural part of your life. While this process of change is taking place, we can support the body with vitamin and/or mineral supplementation.
Herbal Medicine also provides nutritional healing and sometimes I simply prescribe an internal Herbal Mixture, or recommend a specific herbal tea, to address a nutritional imbalance or to support the body through dietary change.
Tissue Salts are potent homeopathic mineral supplements which come in chewable tablet form or as a spray. I always try to choose them first over organic & inorganic mineral supplements because they cannot cause an over-dose, or excess reaction, of any kind and do not interfere with other treatments.
In some specific situations, mineral supplements and/or vitamin supplements may be required. If this is the case, they will be recommended in the appropriate dose.
Not all supplements are equal
A specific nutritional supplement can come in many different biochemical forms, depending on which company produced it, what process they used, what the cost, and so on. Not all supplements are safe, or easily metabolised in the body. Selecting a body-friendly supplement can be a complicated business, if you don’t know your nutrients very well.
In my healing practice, I have made a point of tracking down nutrient supplements which I believe to be in the most body-friendly and bio-available forms, to supply or recommend to clients. This issue is so important to me that I would prefer my clients to take nothing at all, rather than taking an unbalanced supplement.
